ACUKE.com: About

Animal Crossing: UK & Everywhere is a small group of Animal Crossing fans who like to play the Nintendo game together.
We also like to just hang out online, chat and share video gaming experiences.
Over time, we've become good friends, and like Animal Crossing, we're like a small village - except the residents are from all over the world!

On 19th April 2006, ACUKE (or Animal Crossing UK and Europe), began as a way for players in the UK and Europe to find Animal Crossing players to wirelessly game with, following the introduction of Animal Crossing: Wild World, and its online gaming function.
Originally starting as a Yahoo! Groups mailing list, members started joining from all over the world, and ACUKE quickly dropped the 'Europe' aspect and became 'Everywhere'!
At our peak we had over 300 members. Today, however, we're at a steady 10-20 members who keep in touch and play together from time to time, and we think that works better for us!

The founder is from the UK, however long-time members come from the United States, and there are a handful of European members, too.
We've had members from Japan and Australia, but due to time-zone differences, it had been rather difficult to organise a play-time that suited everyone.

This has been at the heart of what we do since the start.
We've played five iterations of the Animal Crossing franchise together since 2006:

Some of us have played the original Animal Crossing game as well, but this is our group's history of playing together.

We have hosted group events and regular town visits, helped each other out during in-game festivals and events, held friendly competitions and shared our favourite Animal Crossing moments over the last 10+ years.

Our members range from in their 20s to their 50s+. And we've also had younger members join with their parents, so we operate a very mindful PG-rated community. :)

We don't just talk about Animal Crossing (although... yes, yes we do... lol). Our members love to play games in general, and we've played lots of games between us, including:
